Default Personality change following neutering

Good things, to be sure, but he's lost his cockiness and confidence.

May be a coincidence - they carry on changing their character for quite
a few years, and they do calm down naturally anyway, like teenagers
becoming adults. My neutered male cats still enjoy going out, hunting
and doing their thing with a swagger, so I wouldn't worry about it if I
were you. They also put on a great show if one decides it's time for a
wrestling match. It's like miniature kung fu :-)
