To the OP, I'm sorry about your cat and I'm afraid I don't know the
answer but I hope that everything will be okay. Is your cat now
considered to have chronic kidney disease? There are many things you
can do to help that and a cat can live a long time with kidney disease
although it is not generally "curable."
