I think the house idea is
what we're going to look for. There is help available from one
group, plus his employer, so I think we could get $6,000 in
downpayment approved and given, if we could find a house and get
approved by whatever agency (bank?) does that. Just hope my
horrible credit rating doesn't block us.


I hope it works out for you! Have you ever bought a house before,
or always rented? There are first time home-buyer programs through
HUD, and I'm sure other programs to help out. Fanny-Mae (not sure
if I have the spelling correct for them) has help for home buyers,
also.
