Default Final word on measured dosing of Advantage/Frontline?

YES you can use frontline plus for dogs on cats. You have to make sure you
have the correct dosage is all. It works perfectly fine and doesn't hurt the
cats. Lots of rescue groups do just this due to cost factors. I myself
have used it and my cats are perfectly fine!

It would cost me $75.00 a month to treat my bunch by splitting a dose out
for the cats it cost $45.00. Now I don't treat year round for fleas only
when they get them which is maybe once a year but the cost savings helps
tremendously when I do.

So I invite the
comments of anyone who knows for sure. Can an opened container of
Frontline
Plus be stored without losing its effectiveness?

IIRC you cannot use dog Frontline on cats. You can use Advantage on
either.

I didn't call Advantage to ask them about their product. I figured I'd
just
ask here. So does anyone know how long Advantage can be stored, once
it's
opened?

I dunno - at least 6 months, IME.

I figure the answers I get here at least won't be colored by the
profit motive!
Also if anyone has any strong feelings as to which is the better product,
Advantage or Frontline Plus, please share them.

For fleas, Advantage. For ticks, Frontline.
