Default It's Official

I bought the one from Wal Mart just to try it out, and it's pretty
flimsy. But for 35 dollars, it's one to get and throw out when it falls
apart. I'm going to have to return it, though, because the plunger
thing isn't going to work for me. (The place I want to put it has tiled
ceiling and it's not good)

But Jazz totally loves it and it's really cut down on her climbing
other places. Jack finally took the plunge and climbed it tonight.

To the original poster, I would definitely start by getting a cat tree,
preferably the one Megan mentioned from Drs. F&S, but if you can't
afford that one, then go for the Wal Mart one.

As for the holes where the screws were, there's patching you can buy at
Lowes or Home Depot for under five bucks. It's easy to use. In a pinch,
you can use toothpaste to repair plaster holes. Is that the problem you
see with the January inspection???

There is a tree I highly recommend that is very sturdy (there are 2x4's
inside each pole) and can take a beating from playful cats, and the best
thing about it for your situation, since you say you don't have much
room, is that it only takes up one square foot of space. You can see a
picture of one at my house at this link (it's the first photo and I took
it just as Jasper got to the top after flying up the tree!) and there is
also a link to the page where you can order it:

I have one of these too (great tree), and I also have a tree from
Walmart, and I can't imagine not having a cat tree now. My cats
literally fly up and down these trees all the time, scratch on them,
and play on them. I can imagine the beating my furniture and curtains
would have taken had I not had these trees for my cats.
