On top of a vehicle? That will scratch the paint. Around the vehicle?
You'd have to cover every square inch of ground from the vehicle out to
about four feet. That's a hell of a lot of mousetraps. That would take
too much time to set up, and you'd have to do it all over again every
time the vehicle is moved. No, it's much easier to remove the cat from
the equation.
