It seems even CATS aren’t safe anymore.
ISIS have issued a fatwa against cats because they say the animals are
against a jihadist’s ‘vision, ideology and beliefs’.
The new law, introduced by senior ISIS clerics yesterday under Islamic
law, forbids the indoor breeding of cats in the Iraqi city of Mosul.

Hardly an Islamic position, and even for the Jihadists it seems a bit
contradictory. All the article mentions is making it illegal to breed
cats indoors. Odd, but then again I've never bred cats indoors and
think that intentionally breeding cats is sort of repulsive. There are
plenty to go around without needing to breed them.

And as this is juxtaposed with the article about the cat being
memorialized in Instanbul, perhaps Dr. Hellman should try to contain
his anti-Muslim hysteria.
