My 15 year old orange tabby, Jeremy, loves to purr. G When he gets a

purr
session going on, sometimes he sways back and forth a good 1/2 inch. We

call
it "rock purring", as it looks like he is rocking in a rocking chair.

Does
anyone else have a cat that does this?

Patti, you *obviously* have a Jewish cat. When we purr, erm, that is, pray
(called "davening"), we stand and sway back & forth slightly. This is
because our prayers can also be sung and it's necessary to have the proper
rhythm.
