Default hairball

if volume is the expert maker them DH and i have doctorates... vaseline will
work, just make sure when you put any of this stuff on them that it is
firmly and thinly on the paws, i put it from the tip of one paw to the
shoulder joint on one front leg... this advice is because, if its on both
paws they will fling it off and onto who knows what... DH says vaseline is
quite unattractive on a window... i also only do one side so they can lay on
the other to wash it off. Lee

I had my eight year old female cat at the vet on Wednesday because she
can't bring up a hairball. The vet gave me laxatone for her. I've
given her one teaspoon a day for three days. She now is making a
girgling sp? noise. Does anyone know if this is normal? Other than
this she is fine. Any info will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Missy

I have heard that Vaseline on the paws will do the trick. I've no idea if
that's good advice but it cannot do any harm.
I've had only one hairball ever from my cats. A sausage shaped thing, I
didn't even know what it was at first, I thought it was a poo on the rug.
Neither KFC or Boyfie owned up to it.

I can't give any advice about hairballs on the basis that one hairball
doesn't qualify me as an expert on these ;-)
