Default Iowna wakes and stretches

Francesca looks around, appreciating the beauty of the setting. The
gentle warm breeze ruffles her fur and slightly tickles her ears.

Watching the palm trees surrounding the bay sway with the gentle breeze,
Francesca remembers a post she read in the RPCC archives from an earlier
beach trip, in which Ranger had a lot of fun with palm trees. She runs
to the palm tree at the far west end of the bay and scampers up to the
very top. She waits for the next gust of breeze to get the tree moving,
then she swings her weight to increase the distance the tree bends. She
does this a few more times until the palm tree is really rocking well.
When she judges that she has enough motion going, she waits until the
tree is almost at the maximum extent of it's bend - then she leaps to
the next palm tree!

She repeats this process, moving from palm tree to palm tree. She can be
heard shouting a loud, kittenish "MEOW!" with each leap.

Reaching the palm tree at the east end of the bay, she recalls Ranger's
mishap when he launched off the last tree and ended up in the bay. She
catches herself and let's her momentum dissipate, then when the tree is
still she begins to carefully climb down. She has hardly begun her
descent, though, when a rogue gust slams into her palm tree, causing it
to surge surfwards. Francesca at that moment was moving her paws lower,
so she had only 2 paws in contact with the tree. The sudden surge
manages to disconnect her claws from the palm tree, and she arcs down
into the surf.

A very bedraggled, very wet kitten splutters on the beach.
