This is a big success AND very English.

One is planned for my city, Vancouver, and will somehow reflect our

Very sweet. I'm not quite sure why my name is in the subject line.

Your name was in the subject line for the same reason a snailmail
letter addressed to you and posted has your name and address on it.
You're the intended message recipient.

You sent me snail mail? No one (from rfc) sends me snail mail outside
of the holiday cards thing.

He was just making an analogy. Your name was in the subject line because
he was directing the post to you. Same reason that your name WOULD be on
a snailmail envelope, IF he were sending you mail through the postal service.

That makes sense, sort of. Except I'm not in England. Chances are I
never will be. I'd have read about the cat cafe regardless.

I don't speak French but nice pictures of the cafe kitties. There
are no cat cafes where I live. I've seen a few "shop cats" over the
years but not in places that serve food or beverages.

There's supposed to be one in the SF Bay Area sometime soon!

That should be fun! Do let us know if you go.
