Thanks,

I just noticed today, that after a week under a rocking chair, he was
sitting
in another chair when I saw him this morning, so I think he is making
progress, and
will eventually venture out, but it will take him time, I know, to venture
up the stairs.

He has another 2 floors to explore.

I don't know of any websites, but we had a cat who went blind. She did
very well without her vision, even jumping up and down from our bed.

One thing to remember is not to change the furniture around if possible,
or leave boxes, etc., where he might unexpectantly bump into them. As
long as he knows where the food, water, and litter box is, he should do
fine.

Thanks for adopting him!

I have just gotten another cat, Rusty who is my fifth, and I knew from

the
beginning that
he had low vision or was blind. Now my question is, Are there any good
websites
with advice.

Right now he is in a room by himself to get used to the area, I brought

him
up
to the living room with me 2 nights in a row, and he did really great,

just
sitting
in my lap or next to me in the rocker.

I think he will be a love bug, but since he is new to the house, I know

I
need
to take it slow with introducing him to the house and the other cats.

Thanks,
Karen
