What a mess! I hope it gets cleaned up and repaired post haste. And a
pox
on those (obviously disgruntled) ex- neighbors! No consideration for the
other tenants when the wreaked havoc in that manner. Hope the landlord
sues
them for a ton of money! (and I'm not a litigious person)

The heck with the landlord. He could have mitigated the damages and should
have by doing an inspection.
The other tenets are the ones who should be paid damages. If not by the
prior tenets then by the landlord.
