Default More hot weather...

It's been hot here, though not nearly as hot as a week ago, and not as
hot as many places in the USA.

But, I did find Lorelie laying on the cool floor of the basement,
yesterday.

Suddenly, I realized that I had not seen her for several hours, and I
couldn't find her.

She was just down in the basement.

I gave her some scritches, and she came back upstairs, and I was
thinking I should not have disturbed her down there, because it is nice
and cool.

Next time, I'll leave her alone.

It's always a little cooler inside than it is outside...but not by a
lot, by late in the afternoon.

I have a fan blowing on me, and when it gets really uncomfortable, I
turn on the AC in the living room, and cool it down to about 80F

Lorelei doesn't spend much time in the living room. She prefers to lie
on her cat tree, most of the time.

I close the drapes, when the sun is shining in HER window, because it
make it too hot for her.

Lorelei is napping on the dining room floor, on an old sheepskin car
seat cover.

It was one of Kenzie's very favorite spots, too.

I very nearly threw it away, before thinking that Kenzie might like it.

My cats are idling around too. They lie on the hall floor on the wood
and roll around. It's hot for the uk and they aren't used to this
heat. Harry still comes up to bed with me when I go but he's far too
hot lying on his throw and if I waken through the night, he's on the
cool floor. They are creatures of habit though and old Jack is still
lying in his wraparound bed. I suppose it's good weather for old
bones(-:
