Good point. We often call Scooter "Scooter Pie", which is not exacty
shorter and so might not meet the definition of a nickname. He's
starting to look like he's eaten too many scooter pies, but it's tough
to keep him from eating from all the other cat's bowls. I named him
Scooter because of the way that he darts at each bowl to check out
what the other cats are eating. And, of course, they're all having the
same thing but that doesn't stop him from checking personally.
