I went through a similar experience a couple of weeks ago. I work late in
the neighbor hood and pop my head in my apartment a few times a night to
check on Martha, the cat. Well, I didn't see her, and assumed she'd slipped
out on my previous visit. I searched all over, calling her but came home
distraught. I thought I'd lost her.

I lay down to catch a few winks, and that's when I felt something touch my
hair - it was Martha. Was I glad to see _her!_ She was hiding in the closet
the whole time!

Very true! I did love on him extra after I found him. But really, he
doesn't need to feel that he has to do me this favor again!
