Sarsi seems to have cheered up a little today after realising Dunzi
isn't doing her "Dirty Stop Out Trick" big time (there's a thought can
a cat play a BCT on another cat?) She's a little more comfortable
about not clinging to Dave he can now pee without her nealry tripping
him up although she still keeps an eye open and when he had to go the
front door (to let me in) she was hiding behind him ready to stop him
going out. She still regards me with suspicion through but she'll
tolerate me as long as i make no moves that suggest she might be
shoved in a carrier and "vanished" and tonight she didn't even look
for Dunzi at tea time (have to watch that as I am so used to putting
down for two she's been getting some extra meals- still if it is
comfort eating at the moment I am prepared to comfort her a little
longer- as she went off her grub for the first 2-3 days (she ate but
only a few mouthfuls) a bit of a blow out should be okay and the last
thing I want to do under the circumstances is put her on a diet)

She still looks from time to time like when I came in she peeped out
from behind Dave to see if Dunzi was with me and sighed (They both
used to do that to me when Dave was in hospital- have you any idea how
depressing it is to go to work all day, visit your sick partner half
the evening and finally crawl home about 10pm only to be greeted by 2
cats who look past you to see if Paw is with you then sigh and walk
off out of sheer disappointment?)

On a side note I got a lens for my new camera and was swapping photo
stories with a friend of mine and one came to mind...Dunzi was not a
fan of being photographed (am still amazed I got that one good shot of
her just a few months ago) her usual reaction to being approached by a
camera (Dammit! This 55-200 lens means I can get long distance shots
then again Sarsi is as bad) so once on being approached by a Hoomin
wielding the Hellish device she turned round and presented her butt
complete with lifted tail- this camera had an automode and it
switched very quickly to "Landscape" when faced with Dunzi's butt- so
it's official as i told her "Dunzi, your bum really does look big in
this" and I started to laugh at the memory the felt bad about laughing
but I guess it reminded me of all the good times I don;t ever want to
forget them (Although I might just want to try and forget the
scaffolding incident/ The time she nearly caused me to either fall to
my death in the nude or get done for naked flashing at 3.40am/ the
fact my ankle still aches sometimes etc)

Don't feel bad or guilty about the laughter. I finally read one of the
"...With Mommy" stories I've been posting about Sammy and it made me laugh
at the memory of her on the ping pong table. Laughter, like tears, can be
healing and healthy. And as Joy said, it honors Dunzi's memory.
