We have a female cat (Tails) who is approx 11 years old....Any cat that
enters our garden is soon seen off by her.
My next door neigbour also has a cat (Stan)...I would like to adopt Stan,
but want to know the best way to introduce Tails and Stan (her son Caffery
was with her. (Unfortunalty some ******* put a shot gun pellet into him
several
years ago and he didn't survive).

I know that most people in the UK believe that keeping their cats outdoors is
the best thing to do...but is it possible - being that you had experience with
one of your own pets being killed by a neighbor's gun - to keep your pet (and
possible new cat) inside?
