So, it's owned by the same person from whom you bought your house,
right? You're probably on pretty friendly terms with him after buying
the other one of his houses, why not just pick up the phone, just tell
him you're curious, and ask him if the house is being sold to the
current tenants.

We're not on friendly terms but I suppose I could have someone else call
them and ask if it's been sold.
