(CBS News) BOSTON - Rescuers are calling her a miracle cat. Her name
is
Sugar, a white ball of fluff that survived a fall from her owner's
window
on the 19th floor of a Boston high rise, reports CBS News affiliate
WBZ-Boston.
"I look out my window all the time and I think, 'Wow, this is really
high,'" Sugar's owner, Brittany Kirk told WBZ.
Yep, that's right, Brittany. 19th floor is really high. So keep the
window shut so your cat does not fall out of it (or is that just me
being
too careful?) FGS.
No kidding. Maybe a cat has a *better* chance of surviving after falling
19 stories, but it's still 19 stories, and that cat is damn lucky! I'm
amazed at how minor the cat's injuries were.

I've never lived in a high-rise building but I have to wonder why there
weren't some sort screens or bars over those windows. What if Brittany
had a young child?! That is one fortunate feline.
Didn't this same thing happen to Eric Clapton's child, who died, of course?

If you are in high rise and have precious people/cats in there I suggest
you make sure the windows are shut.
