He is indeed a handsome cat. My clowder is sending purrs for Tom to come
through his dental safely.

Oh, I do hope everything goes as well as possible with your handsome Tom
Cat.

I know how upsetting it is when a cat needs to be given general
anesthesia, for anything, especially if the cat is older

I used to worry terribly, when my older cat needed 'just' a dental
cleaning.

The only 'good' thing is that it is 'easier' for TED to remove a canine
tooth, than any kind of tooth/teeth in a cat's mouth. That is small
comfort, unfortunately, I am certain.

Purrs are on the way, for TED to have no 'problems' with the extraction,
and for there to be no infection, or ill effects from the anesthesia. Or
for anything else to go wrong, to your handsome Tom Cat, a name that is
especially significant for me.
