Tiger loves the Zoom Groom too. I give him a good brushing before
breakfast every morning. Amber prefers the "Love Glove" which Tiger
doesn't like.

None of my cats likes being brushed with either Zoom Groom or anything
else. Espy was the worst; he would bolt as soon as the first swipe
occurred. Sometimes I would force him to submit and it is amazing how
he could squirm away from the brush. He never liked being touched in
any way. Once in a great while he would climb into my lap and accept a
bit of petting - this was considered a great honor in the house.

We have had cats that learned to like being brushed. We would brush them
a few strokes and then praise them and give them a treat. In our case it
was a piece of their dry food as none of our cats really like cat treats.

Sweep (RB) two strokes of a brush or comb and she was gone, push it and it
was war.

Sophie (RB) loved to be combed. All I had to do was hold up the comb and
she would run over to me.

Sootie, well she just ignores it and then walks away after a few strokes.

Boyfie does not like to be groomed with a brush or comb, but the Zoom Groom
seems to be "just the thing"
He absolutely loves it. Oh, those rubber fingers massaging him!
and it removes all loose hair without him noticing. He will even roll over
for me to do his tummy with it.
It's not too expensive, try it on Sootie. Bear in mind that if Boyfie likes
it (as a shy cat that doesn't like to be "messed with") your cat might.
It's brilliant.
