Ha - better make sure you don't get any *bigger* kitty cats in your
yard, attracted by the very same deer! I just finished reading a book
about this subject, where people living on the edge of wilderness
had deer (and other animals) chomping on the vegetation in their yard,
until a little *too much* nature, in the form of mountain lions,
appeared in the yard. They had followed the deer, but once they were
there, they began to take interest in the family pets, and eventually,
the families themselves. I don't know where "UMR" is, but if it's in
the western US, it's something to think about...
