Some years ago, when we had 6 cats, we built a rather large encloser made of
chicken wire and then draped netting over the top of the chicken wire so the
cats couldn't escape. The wire was about 6 feet high and the netting was
heavy.
The cats could go out, but couldn't escape, and they were all happy G
