No, but you have to get used to them otherwise you burn everything. They
save loads of electricity versus a conventional oven but you can't do a full
Sunday dinner in one. Great for cooking chickens (1 hour) although they
claim 45 mins, not enough.
I like mine but they do take some getting used to. But it's worth learning
IMO.
