Meowmie was taking Paw to the train station so he could get to work. We
had just had our first snowfall of the year - an inch or two of snow. It
normally takes 20 minutes or so to get the train, but this time it was
much slower due to the snow. After an hour on the road they decided to
turn back and Paw would work from home.

When they were about halfway home the car slipped on an icy patch of snow
and spun out. It slid sideways into a street lamp and seriously wiped out
the driver's side passenger door, but Meowmie and Paw didn't get hurt.
Meowmie's ribs were hurting pretty badly, but she saw the doctor and got
x-rayed and nothing is broken or anything. The car is now at the shop,.
and Meowmie and Paw are driving a rental car.

Paw isn't really happy about having to get the work done on the car, but
we're all thanking Bast that neither of them got hurt! Paw is now
grumbling about how he has to find a job that offers health insurance,
but is still really glad that he has his current contract job.
