Emergency repairs to our water line from the street to the house were done
while I was away. Hubby found a plumber by the hour and put in sweat
equity digging the trench. I filled in same trench today while he replace
the sidewalk concrete. I. am. exhausted. The house is over 100, and so
probably is the pipe. Very brittle iron was replaced by copper and pvc.
We'll be long gone before it fails. Now we need to do some pipe
replacement inside the house, but that should be easier for the most part.

Hooman note: I have to go to Las Vegas for a few days with the boss to
meet with some business partners. Haven't been there for a few years. Not
really looking forward to it, but will make the best of it. Nancy will do
