I usually make breakfast for Dave before I go to work- it has to be
something simple that can cook while I'm getting dressed in the other
room like eggs on toast or bacon i.e. something that doesn't need
watching but yesterday he fancied toast and jam so I did that. He
usually leaves a little bit for Sarsi who likes eggs and bacon but she
showed no interest whatsover in jam. So he put the plate on the
bedside table and settled down again which was when he heard the noise
of a cat crunching.

It was Bonnie and she tucked into the jam with enthusiasm (possibly
because it was a rather expensive raspberry conserve and therefore of
a sufficiently high standard for a lady like herself)

There's no knowing what cats will enjoy. As you say, it was posh jam.

Libby is partial to a little porridge in the morning (by partial, I mean
she'll kill for it ;-))
