Lymphoma (WAS Purrs for chemo tomorrow and THANKS)

Hi All: Thank you so much for all your support. I'm writing her another note today and will mention how you are all sending your thoughts to her. She starts the new round of chemo tomorrow, Thursday the 5th. Her cancer is Lymphoma - they found some in her neck and it has spread to her lungs. You guys are the greatest, Susan M otis and chester Susan, just so you know... my father (now 80 years old) is a 4 year lymphoma survivor, pronounced completely cleared of it. It CAN be done. Purrs and prayers for your friend. Jill "Susan M" smawdsley remove @shaw.ca wrote in message news:ZFDPc.161181$od7.154126@pd7tw3no... Hi the I'm turning to all you guys at rpca since I just had more news on a friend of mine from the orchestra. She is a beautiful woman from Hungary who moved here and met her husband through her church. I think that they struggled with having successful pregnancies and were finally blessed with her pregnancy with her little girl. During the pregnancy, she was diagnosed with a rampant form of cancer and had to have chemo during her second and thrid trimesters. She delivered her healthy baby girl just 3 weeks ago and now faces the news that her cancer has virulently spread. She has to undergo all day strong chemo sessions for three days, followed by a bone marrow transplant, and has been told that this is it - stage 4 - there is nothing they can do for her if this doesn't work. Her sister is here from Hungary helping with the baby and I can't imagine how the whole family is feeling. My heart just breaks for all of them and the little girl. If you have room for some healing peaceful purrs for Magdi, I'd sure appreciate it. I'll keep you posted. Thanks, Susan M Otis and Chester |
