Default anyone have a working CatMate C50 Feeder?

Hi there -

I recently bought a cat mate C50 feeder, but the cover does not turn when
the timer passes a release point. If I tap the cover, it will turn, but it
does not release on its own.

I returned one already, and the new one has the same problem. Is this a
problem with the design? Has anyone else encountered this problem? Have a
solution? Has anyone have a C50 that works fine? I do not want to continue
to return them.

thanks
dhb
