'Croc Hunter' feeds crocodile with baby (watch video!)
The argument that the Croc Hunter knew what he was doing (when he had his baby
with him during the demonstration) would work...except for one thing.....Roy Horn knew what he was doing - worked with the animal for years - yet, look at him now. Wild animals are unpredictable! |

These incidents also prove that even our cats are wild no matter how calm
they may seem. -- Panther TEK: Staying On Top Of All Your Computer Needs! www.members.cox.net/catprotector/panthertek Cat Galaxy: All Cats, All The Time! www.catgalaxymedia.com "Luvskats00" wrote in message ... On camera, of course, for maximum publicity. You know, if Irwin did this stunt on the Letterman show to promote his new Croc Challenge show, then yes, it was done for publicity purposes. But this was done in his own home for use on his own show. There is plenty of footage available of similar incidents with his daughter, but for some reason the media didn't pick up on those occasions. He includes his family in his show, probably one reason it's popular. Funny how other parents manage to share their world without the cameras. And without it involving brain-dead stunts. Nonsense. Most parents I know have tons of videotape and still pictures of their baby's every burp. They just don't have their own television shows. And other parents pull lots of stupid stunts with their kids. For example, when I was at Chincoteague/Assateague Islands National Wildlife Refuge, I saw lots of parents endangering their children (and taking photos of it, too) by ignoring the ample signage warning that the wild ponies there are just that, wild animals that should not be approached. Nevertheless, parents were holding up their babies to pet the nice ponies or even offer a tidbit to eat. The difference is that these parents were not wildlife experts as Steve Irwin is, so they were taking far more risk. |
