How do I post this .avi file?

You can embed an avi file the exact same way - just insert the correct
name of the file.

It worked on IE for me, too, but was VERY slow to load, and I almost
posted that it wasn't working. Once it loaded, though, I was able to
play it a couple of times just fine.

That's why I suggested converting it to a .wmv file. The total size of a
..avi file can usually be shrunk to about 20% of the original without much
noticeable loss of quality, and it only takes about one minute to do the
conversion.

..wmv, it just stuck some strange .MSWMM suffix on it.

It does! I've learned to use Linux at work, and I would use it at home
as well, if it weren't for a translation-memory program that only works
with Word. I really like this program, and since I make a living by
translation, I have to stick to Windows. (
