Well.. I got down on all fours and I kept my head level, still and had eyes
fixed on my prey...I mean shrew I was about to rescue. Keeping my head
aboslutely still, I wiggled me bum a bit to make sure I was ready and then I
pounced to pick up a shocked shrew by the tail :-)

Cheers, helen s

Way to go Helen! Clearly Waffles has managed to finally teach the thick
hoomin some hunting skills. What a clever kitty!

And by the way, congratualtions on becoming a grand-aunt!

Not half bad. Next time, along with the butt wiggles, you may want to
add some slight tail rudder motion. It's amazing how much that can
help. I've also noticed that the "cackle" that our cats do when
watching Bird TV is absent when watching mammals. Maybe a difference in
preference.

Being female, I don't have a tail. The technique may work well for the Daves
though ;-)
