Default [OT] Purrs for Russian kids

Don't know if you folks know, but terrorists in Russia are keeping over 300
people as hostages in a school, a fair percentage of those children on their
first day. Its been going on for 3 days now, and the terrorists still
haven't allowed food into the site.

Besides cursing these cowards with litterbox contents, can we spare a few a
few purrs and prayers for the hostages, particularly the children, and of
course their frantic families.

Mega purrs and prayers on the way for all hostages everywhere, and
dirty litterbox offerings for their captors. Boomer, the d*g, is even
sending some of his most smelly offerings.

I've been following that, and we are sending purrs. Happily, they released
some of the hostages yesterday, but most of them are still held in the
school.

It's awful.
I understand that it was feared (mentioned on Swedish Radio that morning)
something would happen on Wednesday with still one suspected suicide bomber
unaccounted for after the attacks on the aeroplanes last week and at a train
station in Moscow the day before. Wednesday was the first day back in school
in Russia and obviously parents/mothers and younger sisters and brothers
come with the kids for that.
But this was on a much larger scale, they say over 1.000 people are being
held, a few of the youngest ones and some mothers were released yesterday.
The reports say no children are among the 12 or so dead, so far.
