Every cold-weather cat needs a house
The best thing we ever bought was a small dog house for Mooch, our
resident stray. We installed in on his beloved veranda under a table, and furnished it with a fleece-lined cat bed, blankets and a heating pad. These windy chilly wet days he practically lives in it, emerging only to eat his meals. Now he's prepared for another cold Canadian winter. Here's "the MoocHouse", as it's called... http://twitpic.com/l3t0n Perhaps you too can provide some sort of shelter for strays if you have them in your neighbourhood, if you're not already doing so. Like us, you'll feel very rewarded if you do |

http://twitpic.com/mqvx4 I love the one of Teddy as well: http://twitpic.com/iaix4 I've seen quite a few members of the same guild sitting on piles of very expensive rugs outside Turkish carpet shops, but none with that much personality. He has that classic antique-shop-owner's "you can't really afford any of this, can you? bugger off" glare. ==== j a c k at c a m p i n . m e . u k === http://www.campin.me.uk ==== Jack Campin, 11 Third St, Newtongrange EH22 4PU, Scotland == mob 07800 739 557 CD-ROMs and free stuff: Scottish music, food intolerance, and Mac logic fonts ****** I killfile Google posts - email me if you want to be whitelisted ****** |

Once he came into the outer hall, looked around, but went back outside to the veranda. He seems to be a dedicated outdoor cat, and the organization Alley Cat Allies says it's best for them to live outside, but provided with their necessities. That way they can live a contented life. Here's a link to what they say... http://www.alleycat.org/NetCommunity/Page.aspx?pid=434 |
