They know her by her food
Went to the vet's office pick up a bag of Hill's x/d for Persia. One of the
techs came up front, spotted it on the counter and said, "Hey! You must be Persia's mom!" G Then she proceeded to tell me how much she loves Persia, and Peaches, too! She did tell me something I hadn't realized. When they take Persia out and let her roam around in the 'cat room' while they clean her kennel, she heads straight for *her* carrier as if to say, "I'm going home!" That sort of breaks my heart. Jill aw, Jill. That broke my heart reading that too. I wonder how our furbabies really feel when they are put in a kennel and don't see us for some time. The sense of abandonment they must feel. I don't really know if this is true, or if they really have no sense of time passing or what. Or maybe Persia just recognizes her carrier and goes to it because it's something familiar? Poor babies, but we all need our time to ourselves too. Lily & her mama |

Awww, poor Persia, getting her hopes up. But sooner or later, it does come true, at least! Joyce |

Persia is just the smartest girl! When I boarded Betty last year, she was surprisingly the opposite - she was excited to see me, but still didn't want to get into her carrier. |

When I picked up Rusty from boarding at the vet's clinic, he often had a
bald spot on his nose. They told me thats from him rubbing his nose against the cage. I presume he tried to escape from jail. It made me feel so guilty about going out of town and leaving him at the vet's. Winnie "jmcquown" wrote in message ... Went to the vet's office pick up a bag of Hill's x/d for Persia. I don't have anyone who can pet-sit for me (and no, I wouldn't trust a stranger, even from an "agency") with a key to my apartment. Jill |
