BIG Surprise For Puppy Dogs!
54 LAMPPOSTS ARE HOT SPOTS
NYC, NY (NYPost) -- Department of Transportation crews have inspected
20,000 lampposts and 38,000 of the city's 70,000 traffic signals to
find hot spots emitting high levels of stray voltage.
Over the last four days, 100 inspectors working in all five boroughs
have uncovered 54 poles with stray voltage, which have been repaired
by Con Ed crews, the DOT said.
The city and Con Ed share responsibility for lampposts, while the
utility company is responsible for underground wiring.
It is absolutely untrue that cats have been spotted at night working
on the lampposts with tools...

LOL! If they were really looking, they'd notice that the feline
supervisors union was subcontracting to RATS local #201 to do the dirty
work for them....

And when the shocking story first came out, I have to admit to having
cringed a bit.... (or should that be "singed")

*ouch!*
