Silly Mimi

Mimi is such a sweet little (?) butterball - she loves to lay on my desktop
while I'm 'internetting'... she will purr continuously while there, and just
now she did something I've never seen a cat do. She was showing me her
(expansive) white belly (yes, she got smurgled) and being the cutie-pie that
she is, slowly drifting off to purry dreamland (probably dreaming of
Boyfriend) and when all of a sudden, she raised her left front paw high into
the air. Think of Arnold Horshack on Welcome Back Kotter, minus the
"oooh-ooooh". It stayed there for about 30 or so seconds. then she
stretched out her claws and the paw slooooooooowly went back down. Then the
right paw just twitched. Back to the left paw, this time only a twitch....
right twitch... then she raised her left way up in the air again, stretching
out those claws..... sloooowly it went back down... right paw just a twitch.

Then I realized she was kneading the air!

She is still now, except for the purring. At least until I smurgle that
belly again
