Cruising Cats: March 11 part 1

We finished cleaning the house and loaded even more stuff on the boat.
We almost left behind a load of laundry that we washed last night and
forgot to put in the dryer.

We put the cats in their travel bags and brought them onboard. We set
them down on the bed and unzipped the bags to let them out.

I stayed with them in the cabin while Jim put some last-minute touches
on the house, which is for sale, and brought more stuff to hand to me
through the door. Cinder and Rosie looked about the cabin.

Apparently Rosie decided that she had had enough of the boat, She hopped
back up on the bed and lay inside her bag with a look that told me she
expected me to zip it back up and take her back to the house.

But, alas, the journey was about to begin and this boat is for now our
home.
