Default Busy Week Ahead (Mostly OT)

Monday, 8am, Rosie gets dropped off at the vets for her second "haircut"
of the spring season, then I'm home almost all day doing laundry.

Tuesday, 9am Tanning appointment, then lunch w/ friends at a nearby shop
(we sit, chat and do needlework at a needlework shop, sometimes for
hours), then at 3pm, Bam-Bam goes in for his yearly.

Wednesday early AM, head to Indianapolis Smart Car dealership, where we
are meeting with 99 other Smart Car owners, then convoying across town to
the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, where the dealership has made
arrangements to have 100 Smart Cars drive 1 lap around the track, for the
100th Anniversary of the Speedway (providing we pay our own admission to
the track), with a tailgate party on the "infield" afterwards. Smart Car
is probably the smallest gas-powered production vehicle to drive on the
track (I say gas-powered, because I'm sure they used golf carts to get
around for maintenance, and they're electric as well as smaller).

Thursday, Friday, recover

Saturday, dunno

Sunday, RACE DAY

Monday, dunno

Tuesday, thank deity that the long weekend is over, and DH is back at work
an outta my hair

It will be a busy week for me, too. I fly outta here around 10AM tomorrow.
When I arrive in TN I get to go through and getting rid of 10 (actually 15)
years worth of stuff. (I have boxes I never unpacked from my previous
apartment which I have to go through.) And packing and wrapping and... well
you know, getting stuff ready to move. I pick up the rental truck on
Friday. Load up. Clean the apartment. Drive back to SC on Saturday with
the goal of arriving here on Monday.

I think your week sounds like more fun

I gave the neighbor the grand tour of the house, showing her where the kitty
supplies are. I scrubbed Persia's kitty fountain and put in a new filter.
Persia is perplexed about why her bag of kibble is sitting on the bathroom
counter. That's just to make it easier for the cat-sitter but Persia keeps
looking at the bag of food the devil in her pretty green eyes I may have
to put it back in the closet.

I'll miss you all while I'm gone. But at least Persia won't be in a kennel
and I know she'll be well taken care of. Who knows? The neighbor might
actually get to see her.

I hope you have a passenger in your car so you can take pictures of people
you pass by with 100 smart cars.

You guys are gonna laugh your heads off driving with all those smart cars
around you and being in a smart car. Well, you know what I mean.
