Default Amber lost another fang

Amber lost a fang about ten years ago. Today she lost the other one. I
will call the vet tomorrow but she is too old for a dental (17 1/2). She
eats mostly wet food and when she gets dry treats, she probably swallows
them whole anyway.

She'll be okay without her fangs. They use them for tearing meat from
prey and
there's not much of that to do with wet food! I think she's pretty
amazing for
17-and-a-half.

I called the vet. The tech said that if she was eating and there was no
swelling that she would probably be OK. She does hate to travel!!!

I agree with Sherry. Also, I think there are probably some soft treats she
could chew using her molars. Or you could soak the crunchy treats (briefly)
in a little water to soften them up.
