How did you come out with the Nano whatever the heck it was? You know the
writing the novel in a month thing?

I just couldn't stretch to get more than my last post. Sometime when you
telling something even halfway "factual" you can't stretch to make it
longer.

I made it about half way, then life and work caught up to me and bogged me
down - I ran out of available hours to write. I still want to finish the
story, but haven't taken the time to do so.

I'm currently hung up, and not having a lot of luck figuring out how to
get my characters working towards a satisfying resolution. I know where I
want them to go and have some ideas on how I'd like them to get there
but the step-by-step is not coming to me.

I've been finding it a lot easier to write a bunch of shorter stories.

Yeah, I know what you mean there. I got in a rut doing short things like "5
generation of cooking Thanksgiving dinner." "What memorial day means to me"
These were all things I wanted to record for my kids but it sidetracked me
from longer more involved stuff.
