I noticed a bump on the bridge of her nose around Christmas, but didn't
think much about it, as it wouldn't be the first time she's bumped her
nose.

It didn't go away, and then over New Year's, she started sneezing
frequently, and her right eye started watering. *A closer look showed
some swelling alongside her nose..hard to see through her tortie coloration.

After a visit to TED, I was referred to a specialist, and now
she is going to see an oncologist Monday. *The first specialist is
99% certain that it's cancer, and the oncologist is going to perform
a CT scan and get samples for biopsy.

For now, aside from the sneezing and watery eye, she's still doing all
the usual things...sleeping on the heat register, demanding treats,
demanding lap time, demanding food....

So, I'd love to put the power *of the purr to work insuring that I can
give her the best quality time possible for as long as possible, if
there are any spare purrs available. *She's 15 and a half, and it's not
like I didn't know I'd have to give her up one day, but I want to make
sure she doesn't suffer..and at the same time I don't want to give up
too easily. *There's still that 1%....and even then, as long as she's
wanting to do all the little things that she does, I want to give her
that time.

Any that can be spared would be appreciated.

Purrs-

Chris, Katie, Hazard and Oreo

Purrs coming your way. I know how it feels with an older cat noy
doing well. I lost my Rusty just 3 months ago. He was 16 years old.

Purrs and gentle headbutts on the way for Katie-cat as well as you,
Chris.
Julie, Lacey, Barnabus, Meeka, Rosco and Spagola - squeeky purrs from
Smudge who doesn't know about healing purrs yet.

I hope it turns out to be something minor and treatable. The vet
would have been negligent not to refer you, just in case, but that
doesn't mean she has cancer.
