Default One out of five

There had to be one out of the five who would show an interest in
electrical cords. I've read stories here about other's cats that chewed
on cords. I considered myself lucky, until last night. Barnabus chews on
cords and cables. I was on the laptop last night when suddenly it quit
- lost power. I looked around to see what had happened, thinking
Barnabus had pulled the plug on the back of the laptop. Nope, he'd
bitten into the cord. sigh Another lesson for a kitten. Electrical
cords are not food. Every cord in house will be unplugged before we
leave for our trip this weekend.

Julie -- reminded constantly that kittens are simply babies

Oo. Yeah, Grant was a cord chewer. I finally duct taped everything to the
floor and bundled anything I could and wrapped it. He grew out of it by a
year old or so.

VERY VERY fast, agile babies, with pointy sticky things.

At a hardware you can get some plastic tubing wide enough to run all
your cords through. Use electric tape to secure the end to the plug
and opposite end.
