sinz she had left fur da Rainbow Bridj. Thiz yeer I will sing it, wiff
mine sweet wedwink Kissa, in honur uv hur brofur Vinnie, who wuz Laura's
wedwink. Dey are tugeffur, fureffur, atta Bridj.

We sing, tuu, in honur ov da lovely Miss Violette, hoo left fur da Bridj
during diz Ball, ana hoo wuz a driffin forse inna RPCC.

Ana we sing fur alla catz, hoominz, ana offur beingz hoo departud fur da
Bridj diz yeer.

[Ralph clears his throat, squeezes Kissa's paw, and nods at Alice and
her kitten Jane to pick up their flutes. While they begin to play the
refrain, he and Kissa close their eyes and remember.....then begin to
