Sneezing cat
My cat has started sneezing frequently. This started about 12 hours
ago. He's still eating and seems fine other than the sneezing. Apart from a vet's visit on Tuesday (less than two days ago) he hasn't been out the house and garden. I have two cats and neither of them have had contact with any other cat for months. He keeps rubbing his nose which suggests that there is some discomfort there. There is no discharge from his nose or eyes as yet. Could he be allergic to something? I'm trying to think of anything new I'm using in the house. The only thing I can think of is the new cat litter I started using at the weekend. When at the vet he did have a dye put into his eye (he has a sequestum), but he's had the before with no problems. Obviously I'm watching this carefully and he'll be going to the vet if this doesn't stop within the next 12 hours. In the meantime any ideas? |

He might have some fur or somehting backed up in his nose. I would sure go to the vet. The rubbing the nose is what makes me worry. If something is stuck there it might turn into an infcection. |

It could be dust or something that's bothering him. Could be the new cat litter. Of course, if it keeps up and there's a change in behavior, contact your vet. -- -Kelly kelly at farringtons dot net Check out www.snittens.com |
