Dapagliflozin: New Hope for Patients with Type 2 Diabetes
According to a recent study published in the Diabetes Care journal, adding dapagliflozin to sitagliptin monotherapy reduces blood glucose levels in patients with type 2 diabetes.
People suffering from type 2 diabetes may sometimes require multiple therapies/combination therapy to manage their blood glucose levels. Dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitors are one of the most widely prescribed therapies used in combination with eithermetformin or sulfonylureas.
