Mugged for my lunch
"Shirley" wrote in message ... Ok, this isn't quite as bad as it sounds :-) I visit my friend and help with her foster cats 3 afternoons a week and I have to leave home just before my lunchtime. I have quite a strict regime for eating - small quantities every 3 hours - to keep my blood glucose levels stable (not diabetic but prone to hypo's) so I take my lunch time sandwich with me and eat it before going to feed and play with kitties. My friend has a cat called Mole who she hand reared and he thinks he should have a share of any human food being eaten - you can see where this is going can't you ? I sit on the sofa and take my sandwich from it's wrapping and suddenly there are a dozen eyes staring intently at me and I get an uncomfortable feeling of eyes boring into the back of my head. I try and ignore it and take a bite of my sandwich when suddenly from behind me a paw appears and tries to hook my lunch, the paw is followed by a large furry head which takes advantage of my surprise and steals a quick bite from my lunch. So there I sit surrounded by cats who are staring intimidatingly at me, sharing my sandwich bite for bite with a large black and white cat called Mole........ now if I only knew what Mole offered the other cats as a reward for helping him mug me for my lunch I might be able to come up with a better offer ! -- Shirley see my cats at http://communities.msn.co.uk/Friendsfamilyandfelines2 http://uk.msnusers.com/friendsfamilyandfelines3 I would've been intimidated! Cute story! Christine |

Lesson learned: next time fix a sandwich for them also! MLB |

LOL! That is hilarious, Shirley! Next time, maybe you have to bring Mole his own sandwich. -- Marina |
