For years I have used outlook express and like the format. For some
reason I can not get messages or post the last few days. I'm looking
for suggestions for a new free reader to use. I'm in the U.S.

Several people on this group use Thunderbird.

If you're not getting messages and can't post, the problem isn't
with your reader but with your server - perhaps your ISP has stopped
supporting Usenet. You need to reconfigure Outlook Express to use
a different server. A lot of people here use news.individual.net
(very cheap annual sub); I use a free one, albasani.net. There are
others that do more, for more money.

Lots of ISPs have stopped supporting the newsgroups...mine did. I got
Motzarella (news.motzarella.org) and love it. Really easy signup process.
