Two words: Ralph Fiennes.

swoon thud!

I don't recognize the name. What has he been in?

2 time Oscar nominee (nominated Best Actor for "The English Patient"
as Laszlo de Almasy), nominated Best Supporting Actor for "Schindler's
List" as Amon Goeth). His IMDB page (WITH photo) is

Okay. I did see him in "Schindler's List".

Joy

Which he gained 30 pounds for, so he could be fat, pasty and decadent,
as well as evil. Ralph's not looking his best in that one, but you
can still see he has beautiful eyes

I remember when I saw him on the Oscars for that year, I couldn't
believe it was the same person.

Don't know about how well some of them can act, but my favorite
Hollywood eye candy...

Old-timers:
Robert Redford
Paul Newman
Sean Connery
Harrison Ford

Middle-Agers:
Pierce Brosnan

Young(ish):
Brad Pitt
Jude Law
Kevin Sorbo

(Looks like) Jail Bait:
Leonardo DiCaprio

Hugs,

CatNipped

I certainly agree about Sean Connery, Harrison Ford, and Pierce
Brosnan, but where is Tom Hanks?

Joy

Sorry, every time I think of Tom Hanks I think Forrest Gump!! LOL!!!

Hugs,

CatNipped

Speaking of Tom Hanks, does anyone here remember the name of the TV
show that he started his career with - the one where he and another
guy dressed up like women so they could get cheap rent?

Hugs,

CatNipped

Bosom Buddies!

Tom Hanks is the Jimmy Stewart of our time, folks. Totally adaptable to any
role whatsoever.

At the risk of sounding sacrilegious, G I believe Tom Hanks is a
better actor than Jimmy Stewart. Don't get me wrong - I love(d) Jimmy!
But he was always Jimmy Stewart, no matter what role he was playing.
Tom Hanks is more of a chameleon. He becomes the person he is playing.
I saw him first in "Big", and liked him, but I thought that was maybe
just his natural personality. Then I saw him in "Philadelphia". Then
"Forrest Gump". And so on. His "Castaway" was yet another role. He
amazes me! The only other actor nowadays (and he doesn't do much acting
any more) who comes close (IMNSHO) is Dustin Hoffman.
